Currently

As of 2017 I am working on a variety of online business pursuits, completely outside the realm of commercial arts. I have occasionally tried to reawaken my creative senses to less than compelling results. The journey continues.

Professional summary

From 1998-2007 I was an illustrator, concept artist and art director on a freelance basis in a variety of industries. These included primarily medical/pharmaceutical, advertising, and film production. I also held several web design and information architecture positions along the way.

The essential and consistent aspects of this history was to problem solve for my clients by creatively communicating a visual message or telling a story. My number one priority was always to deliver high quality work on time and on budget in a professional and collaborative manner. I decided to leave the commercial art world in 2008 for a number of reasons that are irrelevant here.

Between 2007 and 2013 I dabbled in a couple areas as I searched for new inspiration. This included an unsuccessful attempt to be a realtor, (what I was thinking, I do not  know), and some continuation of my web design experience for new work. I pursued this with some eagerness by taking courses and studying programming for WordPress. However I have always found this work to be isolating and empty, and I had thus been looking for a way out completely.
